ABOUT NEW COLLECTION

Key words: dream, escape from reality, unseen world, liberty.

Strongly inspired by Latin American literature, Anastasia begins drawing fantastic worlds, imagining universes similar to those read in the novels of Cortazar, Marquez or Adolfo Bioy Casares.

Moving to a new country, where everything is new and unusual, allowed Anastasia to create a new reality on canvas, transferring far from reality – into vivid dreams, memories of the past and fantasies about the future.

The exhibition SUEÑOS EN CAUTIVERIO was born out of this observation and, with a voyeuristic look, strives for the expressive materialization of those moods in which a person finds himself in a period of global changes and acceptance of a new reality.

Bright colors, geometric shapes emphasize the silhouettes and character of the bodies.

And nudity indicates the sincerity of the artist in his feelings, transferring all the action into the free reality of dreams and fantasies.
